Rhonda Keagy, CAS

I bounced out of college in 1987 with a passion for business.  With my first portable electric typewriter in hand and a fresh business suit, I went to work to hone the skills that eventually helped me to open the doors of Bay Advertising Specialties in the fall of 1998.  What started as a part time job soon became a full time obsession as the business grew and the client needs became diverse.   Every step of the way though, I have embraced the challenges of learning the ins and outs of the promotional products industry and now feel as though I am a concierge with much expertise to offer.  Ever changing though, the industry has taken many new twists and turns over the years and it is still an exciting venture for me every day to see what new and innovating marketing ideas I can bring to my clients.

In the decline of 2009, BayAds met with some difficult challenges, as well as most of the business world at that time.  Rather than give up or just “ride the wave”, BayAds took on a new approach and some redirection and laterally expanded our offerings to include corporate branding suites (product and print), trade show organization and event planning.  Today, Bay Advertising LLC has morphed into a marketing company that offers “creative marketing beyond the promotional product”. The ability to offer a wider range of program ideas to clients while still maintaining promotional products as a by-product of the planning is the direction BayAds is headed in these days.  I have considered it a privilege and my life’s work to find ideas for creative marketing that have made my clients look good and see results for their marketing effort. I look forward to continuing that and also being open to new ideas and directions in the future.

I have been married for 30 years to Tim and we have two boys – Chris (age 27) and Justin (age 24). Chris, and his wife Tessa, have blessed us with our first grandchild - Emma Rose - born in December 2020.  We live in Stevensville, Maryland and enjoy the Chesapeake Bay area very much. If you are coming through town – let’s have coffee!
